Peer Teaching 1 Reflection

I feel that this lesson went extremely well considering that it was my first science teaching experience. The length of the presentation was perfect; just about 3 minutes. I felt extremely comfortable in front of my classmates, so much so that I felt it almost unnecessary to look at my lesson plan.

Given more time, I would have liked to go into greater detail about the layers of the earth. It would have been helpful to mention the asthenosphere or the core-mantle boundary. These dynamic locations would have been an interesting addition to the lesson. All things considered, I feel it was an effective and informative first peer-teaching exercise.
